Presents
33 Ways to Break Into Hollywood

You are invited to join us in a joint marketing venture that will cost you nothing and will pay off for the next year.

One of the biggest issues screenwriters face is their inability to break into this industry. We're presenting a series of solutions and your subscribers can benefit from them.

HERE'S THE PROMOTION:
For the next year, ScriptForSale will be promoting "33 Ways to Break Into Hollywood" through constant advertising. We're asking sponsors to simply do one month of promotion (or two weeks for larger sites) in exchange for being in front of as many as 100,000 screenwriters during that year. (More about the exchange below.)

Join the Promotion Now!

WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS PROMOTION?
There are three reasons this will be a very successful promotion for you.

1.

Screenwriters will read every strategy!

In fact, they'll look forward to each new strategy because it may be the one that solves their biggest problem -- How to get through the Hollywood system that is designed to keep them out!

That means they will read every strategy and your sponsorship will pay off.

2.

It will be marketed for a year by ScriptForSale.com.

How we'll promote this:
..........
  • Non-stop Google Adwords campaign for the next year.
  • We'll continue advertising throughout the next year by placing announcements in screenwriting ezines.
  • Market it to our own list and promote on our site.
  • Have 20 - 50 sponsors putting up banners and sending to their lists.
So you market for a month and it keeps paying off for a YEAR!
3.

Screenwriters will pass "33 Ways" on to their friends.

Since it is free and it solves a major problem, it will create some BUZZ. Even more important, we've set up a way they can send the strategies to their friends and that will mean more writers downloading the 33 Ways.

If you look at the Tool, you'll notice it says "Send this to a friend." That gives them the option to introduce 33 Ways to other screenwriters by sending them a single strategy and an invitation to download the Tool itself.

OUR PROJECTIONS:
In the first 60 days: 30,000 to 50,000 screenwriters will READ the 33 Ways. Over the year: More than 100,000 (maybe substantially more) will READ it.

HOW "33 WAYS" PROMOTES YOUR SITE
There are three important ways we'll promote your site.

  1. Your linked logo on the front of one of the 33 strategies.
  2. A "Resource Listing" at the bottom of the text portion of one of the strategies.
  3. A reciprocal link on ScriptForSale.com with your site.

Components of Sponsorship

1. Your Linked Logo.

2. Resource Box Listing

Method #17: Six Degrees of Separation

There's a saying "It's not what you know, but who you know." Six degrees of separation goes many steps beyond that. It's not who you know, but who they know...and who they know, etc. For example, you may know the librarian whose sister is a therapist for the personal assistant to Tom Cruise.

<Full page strategy explanation goes here, then at the bottom of each strategy, there is a Resource listing like this one. For the full strategy, see "The Full #17 Tip" at the bottom of this page.>

THE FULL #17 TIP

Method #17: Six Degrees of Separation

There's a saying "It's not what you know, but who you know." Six degrees of separation goes many steps beyond that. It's not who you know, but who they know...and who they know, etc. For example, you may know the librarian whose sister is a therapist for the personal assistant to Tom Cruise.

It is a simple theory that came out of the 60's. You are no more than six relationships away from anyone in the world. If you know 100 people, that means you could possibly have access to 100 networks. There are three steps that will help you turn current relationships into networking relationships.

1. Take the time and effort to build strong relationships and credibility.

The key here is to build the relationship before you need it. Don't meet someone and instantly start trying to access their network. That's rude and ineffective. Develop real relationships and you'll be far more successful when you make requests for access.

2. Make a list of everyone you know who could possibly know someone in the
industry.

Many times, creating this list will uncover hidden treasures in your network. Even if you think you're aware of everyone who has industry contacts, you may want to check. Some people in your network may surprise you.

3. Ask in a way that makes it easy for them to access their network.

Avoid the three D's when you ask -- Dumb, Desperate, and Dominant. None of those will be successful if they show up as part of your request. Consider using something simple like "I've got a story about________ that I'm sending to producers. Know anyone that might be interested in it?"

If you take the time to build relationships, explore who they know, and ask in a considerate manner, chances are that you may become one of the amazing Hollywood success stories that come from six degrees of separation.
